All entry forms MUST be handed in before 23rd August. Also entry on the day of the event will not guarantee entry. Exhibitors that do enter on the day will only be accepted if there is room or another exhibitor has dropped out. Entry this year is £3.

Buntingford is just off the A10, North of Ware/Hertford and South of Royston. The location for the event is High Street, Church Street and Market Hill.

IMPORTANT - marshalling and registration will be done in Market Hill which is best approached from the south of the town. Please enter Buntingford from the south at the A10 turn off at Sainsbury's depot - this will avoid congestion in the town at the marshalling points and make it easier for vehicles with wide turning circles. Please follow the marshal's instructions this year - last year because weather affected the numbers arriving, we changed these instructions on the day, but this year we are expecting record attendance, so your co-operation is appreciated and we want to avoid a log jam up the High Street.

Directions

From the South (A10 & A120), follow the signs for Buntingford at the Sainsbury’s Depot/BP service station roundabout. Enter the town, and approximately 400 yards later the Co-op is on your right. 50 yards further on is the entrance to Market Hill on your left (just passed red brick church).

Note you cannot turn off of the M25 headed westbound at junction 25 (due to roadworks) to join the A10. We suggest you use the M11 and A120 at Stansted. You can turn off at J25 if you are eastbound to join A10. Likewise, you can join M25 homeward if you are headed west but not east.

From the East (B1038 via Hare Street), turn right at the Co-op and Market Hill is 50 yards on your left.

From the West (A507 via Baldock), at the A10 turn right and go to the next roundabout with BP service station on left. Turn left and follow A10/A120 instructions from South.

From the North (A10), DO NOT ENTER THE TOWN at the Wyddial sign south of Chipping as the road will be closed for the event. Drive on to the second roundabout and turn left into Buntingford at the BP service station / Sainsbury's depot roundabout. Follow instructions from South.

INFORMATION FOR EXHIBITORS

When you arrive, you will be directed by a Marshall who will advise you where to park your vehicle. Please try to arrive between 09.00 and 10.30 am. We will do our best to admit late entries, but can make no promises. If you arrive earlier, please wait in Market Hill. Road Closures commence at 08.30 and deliveries will still be being made at this time along High Street.

The exhibitors and general public vote for the awards. Voting forms are included in the programme and will be available on the day.

Several exhibitors have asked about ground clearance for low-slung cars. As the event is held on the High Street there should be no problems.

There are several eating establishments only too happy to take your money from pubs, the wine bar to coffee shops, take-aways and invited food outlets.

Finally, toilets are located in the public car park - behind Somerfield supermarket.
